The Vance Twins are cofounders of Adoption Truth & Transparency Worldwide Information Network (ATTWIN), a social media forum on adoption outside of groups formed and monitored by agencies and adoptive parents, which led to the compilation of a first-of-its-kind anthology (Adoptionland: From Orphans to Activists) to spotlight the voices of adult adoptees from Europe, America, Asia, and Africa.

Adoption Truth and Transparency Worldwide Information Network (ATTWIN) aligns with innate human rights to know and have access to one’s family, civil and constitutional rights, international and universal rights—aka God-given inherent and natural rights—over adoption law (which places the “right to adopt” as its priority and manufactured by fallible human beings).

The purpose of ATTWIN has balanced the perspectives on adoption to include adopted people and ensure that this population is considered the expert voice over previous one-sided advertising campaigns paid for by adoption facilitators and entities that commodify children.

Unlike other groups monitored by adoptive parents and agency websites, ATTWIN was initiated by and for adopted people (referred to as “adoptees” in the industry), families separated by adoption, and parents of loss.

The Vance Twins LLC curated Adoptionland: From Orphans to Activists and The Unknown Culture Club: Korean Adoptees, Then and Now. Award-winning books written by Rev. Dr. Janine Vance include Twins Found in a Box: Adapting to Adoption and The Search for Mother Missing: A Peek Inside International Adoption, depicting the twins’ childhood adoption experiences.

The Vance Twins

Janine is a book doctor, feature-length screenwriter, and international award-winning author of many books, including Twins Found in a Box, The Search for Mother Missing, and Rise from the Dread. She also consults entrepreneurs on story development and guides clients through the process of publishing their books worldwide.

Jenette, a Certified and Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant and Life Coach, was trained in Integrated Psychology and Applied Neuroscience. Jenette became a Reiki Master under the direct lineage of Master Mikao Usui, the founder of Reiki. She enjoys helping people learn about Reiki and develop personalized meditations catered to their needs. 

The Vance twins have each worked in their field of expertise for more than twenty-five years. They recently joined forces to provide personalized guided meditations, Reiki Retreats and to host write-for-your-life mini-sabbaticals for busy entrepreneurs.
