The Vance Twins are cofounders of Adoption Truth & Transparency Worldwide Information Network (ATTWIN), a social media forum on adoption outside of groups formed and monitored by agencies and adoptive parents, which led to the compilation of a first-of-its-kind anthology (Adoptionland: From Orphans to Activists) to spotlight the voices of adult adoptees from Europe, America, Asia, and Africa.

Adoption Truth and Transparency Worldwide Information Network (ATTWIN) aligns with innate human rights to know and have access to one’s family, civil and constitutional rights, international and universal rights—aka God-given inherent and natural rights—over adoption law (which places the “right to adopt” as its priority and manufactured by fallible human beings).

The purpose of ATTWIN has balanced the perspectives on adoption to include adopted people and ensure that this population is considered the expert voice over previous one-sided advertising campaigns paid for by adoption facilitators and entities that commodify children.

Unlike other groups monitored by adoptive parents and agency websites, ATTWIN was initiated by and for adopted people (referred to as “adoptees” in the industry), families separated by adoption, and parents of loss.
